West Coast Chapter Winter Board Meeting January 9, 2026
Thanks to everyone who attended the WCC Winter Board Meeting at Casa Grande on a cold Friday morning in Sacramento. A special thank you to Casa Grande and our past-president’s Ray Fassett, and Chuck Danache.
Along with all the regular committee reports, Ray Fassett with Condon-Johnson provided an interesting presentation on a CJ project in Sacramento, and Jim Tippett with CZM provided the associate member presentation. Rick Marshall generously provided the ADSC report.
Matt Jannings agreed to try to create a relationship with HDOT; the chapter is still looking for volunteers to help with Idaho and Nevada transportation departments. Ashley Mahaffey Tullius and Matt Jannings will work to revitalize the WCC safety committee.
The chapter welcomed two new members since the last meeting: Keystone Drilling and KB International. WCC membership remains strong with 41 associate and 31 contractor companies.
The Board of Directors is seeking two volunteers to replace the outgoing members – Our thanks to Tait McCutchan and Matt Jannings for their service to the WCC.
Our 42nd Annual Meeting sees us return to The Cliffs Resort in Shell Beach, CA on May 14-16, 2026. This meeting is THE event for the West Coast Chapter; it is our main fundraiser and education opportunity.
