Education – As an ADSC WCC member, your personnel have many opportunities to gain knowledge and training in the drilled shaft and anchored geo-support industries. The ADSC sponsors seminars and workshops throughout the world, while the WCC conducts seminars and training sessions for our members, and for DOTs and other government agencies throughout the chapter’s region. We conduct an annual Members Workshop that addresses topics specific to work in our industry and within our geographic area.
Strength – The reputation of, and respect for, the international ADSC adds tremendous weight to the opinions and professional position of its members. As a group, our voices are heard throughout the industry. We share cutting-edge information, research, and experience as to what is occurring in our industry, and how we act to achieve optimal solutions. The WCC works closely with our DOT’s and local unions, striving to strengthen our business relationships. Working with “Employer’s Advocate”, the WCC has successfully negotiated Agreements with major California labor unions.
Safety – The ADSC and the WCC are acknowledged as the leading safety proponents in the industry. We offer safety training, and state-of-the-practice safety materials in English and Spanish language editions. Our proactive relationship with national and regional OSHA offices provides the very best in self-regulatory opportunities. For the ADSC, “Safety is Our Business”.
Industry Advancement – In order to achieve our goals for industry advancement we invest heavily in education and research. The ADSC formed an Industry Advancement Fund in 1986; the WCC followed suit in 2003. The WCC IAF assists in the raising of funds for scholarships, research, and educational programs in the West Coast service area. The chapter provides two fully endowed Civil Engineering Graduate Study Scholarships through the ADSC’s Scholarship Program.

Foundation Drilling Magazine – Published eight times per year, our award-winning Foundation Drilling magazine is the number one source for news in our industry. The magazine features case histories, design articles, and research projects, as well as member and association news. Foundation Drilling keeps readers informed as to what is happening in our, and related industries.
