Thanks to all who joined our 2020 Annual Meeting held electronically! It is disappointing that we were unable to meet in person, we look forward to seeing everyone on October 1st in Napa, CA. Here are a few highlights from the board meeting:
Membership: Ron Thomas with Dees-Hennessey has retired and long-time WCC member Dees-Hennessey are ending their participation with the ADSC; we wish Ron and Cathy all the best in their retirement, they will be missed.
Safety and Certification: Twelve candidates successfully completed Practical Exams for NCCCO certification, six each for Micro-Pile and Foundation Drill Rigs. Thanks a million to Condon-Johnson, Bob Federighi, and Ray Fassett for all their work making these tests happen. Bob is now certified for both FDR and AMP and is available to help the chapter with future exams. Cat Lytle with Local 3 also completed both AMP and FDR certification.
The Practical Exam opportunity in Washington being planned with the help of DBM, Condon-Johnson and Local 302, had to be cancelled because of Coronavirus. We hope to reschedule soon.
2020 Fall Board Meeting: October 1st in conjunction with ADSC International at the Meritage Resort in Napa, CA. The West Coast Chapter is seeking two volunteers to give 15-minute presentations during the meeting; one Contractor and one Associate, please contact beckypatterson@adscwest.org to volunteer. There is no cost to attend the WCC Board Meeting but we ask that you RSVP.
New Board Members: Three new members were elected to the Board of Directors, term 2020-2023: Matt Jannings, Pacific Foundation; Mike Minihan, Bauer Equipment, and re-elected Josh Hilton, Condon-Johnson & Associates. The chapter thanks John Tuttle, Sinclair Well Product & Equipment, and Josh Hilton, Condon-Johnson & Assoc. for their service on the Board.
2021 Annual Board Meeting February 18-21 at Paradise Point in San Diego, CA. We have a great Education Session planned and look forward to having our membership back together in person. Look for more information coming soon.
